Umm is it just me or is this a dirty valentine? Yes, I know Valentine's day was yesterday but I am a day late this whole week. . . Red says Happy V-day! Fat book page for Sarah's book – wishes and dreams. I guess just being black history month has got me thinking about all these vintage images I come across. Vintage couples in love – more like hetrosexual white couples in love! Anyway this little girl wished and dreamed to be Red Riding Hood. Hand colored black and white photo collaged with parts of the story and made to look like Red Riding Hood and then printed onto fabric. For more about fabric transfers look up this Yahoo group or Lesley Riley. I do think I will make a lightbox from this image – it is so cute!
