I am loving the new way to peruse the illio's – such a great overhaul of the site. Although, I did notice there were a few entries from phentermine and viagra. Who knew even they were doing illio's?!
I was going to try for something different (not vintage) but the topic was cake. I just love the picture of Alice holding the cake. First, I messed with that – gave her a rabbit head and then decided to create a digital shrine to cake. Quite fun it is to learn photoshop little by little. . .
I am done with the stuff for the show! I should be posting pictures in the next week – of course have to do an overhaul to the website first. I did purchase a big 'ol light tent! That will help – assemblage is so hard to get good pictures of! I built my own once but I don't know the ones you can buy are just more seamless.
I am so excited for summer. ♥ Peaches, strawberries and watermelons. Flowers and flimsy skirts. . . to summer and minimal blogging! Although, I will be here whenever those awful mosquitoes make me come back inside.
Mmmm cake. . .off to see what everyone else served up
How exciting my first entirely digital assemblage!

The weather is frickin' gorgeous here in Colorado – makes it hard to blog. I wonder if people post to their blogs more in the winter? I play more videogames in the winter so I imagine it will be that way for me. I do think people should stop saying they are sorry for not posting to their blogs more often! Find your pace and post when you feel like it and when you don't let it sit and collect dust. The life/work/blog balance. Less is more. Plus I figure my blog will help people not have RSS fatigue! ♥ It does take a special person to be a daily blogger. . .I am certainly not cracked up for it!
Almost done with everything for the art show. I am so excited everything has come out fabulous. Such a bad girl about documenting my work. But, this time I am going to take good pictures of the light box assemblages before I ship them.
The wonderful Kim de Young (princess pepper cloud) sent me a most generous package this last week. A pair of gorgeous earrings and an awesome sushi/tapas plate with adorable hand painted bats on it. Thank you so much! It is all just so fabulous and wicked – I am absolutely in love with all of it.
Off to catch up with my favorite bloggers and check out other what other people are sorry about. . .
Sorry about that whole ozone thing. . .
